ok first off finally!!! I loved reading these books when i was in highschool and always wonder if a movie would ever be made. Now that that was said, I feel like i need to say this. “If the books were so popular why would u change so much.” From the trailer alone you can tell Darren wanted to be a vampire while in the books he never wanted to be one. Second big mistake yall are leaving out how much author Darren Shan used fate in his first book. Darren and Steve dont find the ticket from a car driving by, no Darren’s and Steve’s friends that are mentioned in the first part of book 1. One of them found it and stole it from his older brother. Steve then went to buy the tickets and could only get 2, but had plenty of money. Thirdly and this part is what hurts the most. How can you cast John C Reliy as Mr.Cresply. He is not the serious type. In all the books he was very serious and stern with Darren and Mr.Reliy just is not that serious. Lets be real for a minute, his last really good movie was Perfect Storm. Other than that its been really down hill with Will Farrel. I’m sorry but Step Brothers was not that great and he has not played in a serious role in forever.

Look guys to be honest I will still see the movie and I will take notes on all the other things that are messed up. I am sadden by the fact that so much from a great book was changed. After I see the movie, and I work as a manager at a movie theatre, I will try to screen it before to check the assembly of the print, I will gladly give my review. Til then hope you dont mess up too much
